In 2005, Özçivit won the title of “Best Model of Turkey” and finished second in the “Best Model of the World” competition.
He was a successful model in fashion shows worldwide.
Özçivit’s acting career began with the television series Zoraki Koca, with Baba Ocağı.
He then appeared with Küçük Sirlar in a show inspired by the series Gossip Girl, in the role of Çetin. He starred in Muhteşem Yüzyıl as Malkoçoğlu, in which he wore a moustache that has been often-copied in Turkey. Over time, Özçivit became a sought-after face for commercials. His last television series was Çalıkuşu, where he shared the lead with his current girlfriend, Fahriye Evcen.
Özçivit was in a relationship with Ceylan Çapa, who was a mover in high society.
Currently, he is the producer of his own movie, in which Evcen appears.
